I'm a Chicago-based brand strategist, personal brand photographer, coach, and artist. I've coached creatives and entrepreneurs for over 20 years.
I created Badassity Branding to empower coaches, consultants, and entrepreneurs to shift from masterful (but lost in the crowd) experts to truly transformative life- and world-changers.
It's been a winding road for me. A keen student of all things human, I hold an A.M. degree in religion from the University of Chicago Divinity School. I've studied photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, coaching with ICF-certified Accomplishment Coaching, dramatic writing at Chicago Dramatists Workshop, and improvisational at the Second City Training Center.
I draw on all these disciplines and communities of meaning-making to draw out your singular specialness. Honestly, I'm part individualist, part nurturer, part provocateur, part philosophy.
I live six blocks from Wrigley Field on the north side of Chicago and travel with my wife Rosalind for artistic inspiration.

A lifelong learner and observer, I draw inspiration from art, nature, and the fearless thinkers who question the status quo. When I'm not designing, I loves to explore gardens and parks with my kids (and our fluffy sidekick) or expand my worldview by listening to audiobooks.
